Amy Brandt
Chief Executive Officer
Amy Brandt, who brings over 16 years of financial, sales, and management experience, partnered with a leading private equity firm in 2007 to form Vantium Capital
(SM) Inc.
Most recently, Ms. Brandt was the President and CEO of WMC Mortgage Corp, a GE Money Company, where she grew the organization from a small regional wholesale lender to an industry leader with monthly originations exceeding $3 billion. Ms. Brandt shaped the automation of underwriting in the mortgage arena, having led the development of one of the first automated underwriting decisioning systems, WMC Direct. Additionally, she led the organization from being a private entity through its eventual sale to GE Money.
Ms. Brandt is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Degree in Political Science and Spanish, and holds a Law Degree from Arizona State University. She has served on numerous industry committees and panels.
Ron Bendalin, Executive Vice President
Secretary and General Counsel
Mr. Bendalin was a Member of McGlinchey Stafford, PLLC, and McGlinchey Stafford and Youngblood & Bendalin, LLP, a position he held from 2003 through 2008, where he focused his practice on all aspects of residential mortgage banking, including multistate and federal compliance, licensing, asset transfers, loan documentation, dispute resolution and servicing. Prior to joining McGlinchey Stafford, and forming McGlinchey Stafford and Youngblood & Bendalin, Mr. Bendalin was a Senior Attorney with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP in Dallas from 1999 to 2003; and prior to 1999, Mr. Bendalin was executive vice president, secretary and general counsel of FIRSTPLUS Financial Group, Inc. in Dallas.
Mr. Bendalin has focused on multistate residential mortgage lending, including conventional, subprime, home equity, home improvement and high loan-to-value lending and servicing for the last 18 years. He is a frequent speaker on residential mortgage lending topics, including multistate compliance and licensing issues, subprime lending and home equity lending.
Mr. Bendalin received his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1990 and his B.A. from Southern Methodist University in 1986.
Chris McCullough
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. McCullough is the former Managing Director and Bank of America / CW responsible for the Specialty Lending Group. Prior to Bank of America, Chris held numerous executive leadership roles at General Electric’s Financial Services unit.
Chris has a proven track record of building high powered leadership teams, managing growth businesses and developing highly reliable processes. His Six Sigma certification and experience with offshore fulfillment resources add tremendous value to the Acqura team. He brings over 22 years of financial services experience to the executive team.
Chris is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Alan Sercy, Executive Vice President
Strategic Recovery Group
Mr. Sercy has fifteen years of loan collection experience, with eight of those years managing and running the specialty default collection. He has led & developed this business line that provided collections support services to clients including Citigroup, Fannie Mae, Ford Credit, Honda Motors, Accredited and EMC.
In this capacity, he was also responsible for all facets of the business including technology integration, training, operations and business development. Prior to this, Mr. Sercy was at Citigroup responsible for special servicing agents.
Todd Wallace, Executive Vice President
Capital Markets
With over 25 years of financial expertise, Mr. Wallace is the former EVP of Capital Markets for WMC Mortgage, a position he held from 1997 through 2007 where he was responsible for the sale and securitization of approximately $100 billion of production.
Prior to joining WMC, he was the CFO of Spring Mountain Group and Pioneer Savings and Loan from 1994 until 1997. Prior to that, Mr. Wallace was employed by Security Pacific Bank/Bank of America for eleven years in a variety of financial positions, financial planning and analysis, two years in the Interest Rate and Currency Risk Management Group and nine years for the Residential Real Estate Lending Group.
He is graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Administration and earned his Master's Degree in Business Administration from UCLA.
